Addie's acceptance into the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is a testament to her unwavering determination and passion for STEM. From an early age, she set her sights on this prestigious institution, knowing the odds were stacked against her. She has immersed herself in a Chinese language program since kindergarten, earning the Idaho Seal of Biliteracy in Mandarin and English. Her academic prowess is evident in her over 80 college credit hours and an associate's degree in STEM, which she will graduate with, along with a technical certification in cybersecurity.
Her extracurricular activities are equally impressive. Addie founded and led the Girls Who Code Club at her high school and has won awards in robotics. Additionally, she has gained valuable experience through internships at the Idaho National Laboratory.
